Upcoming CE EventsAs a benefit of membership, MSOTA sponsors several continuing education events throughout the given year. Members are able to register for these events for free or at discounted rates. Continue to visit our website for information regarding upcoming events. MSOTA also provides information about other conferences based on the requests of our members and/or associates. If you would like to advertise a continuing education event on our website, please send an email of your request to [email protected]. MSOTA CENTRAL DISTRICT CE EVENT - APRIL 20, 2023This is a live, in-person event being held on April 20, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The event will be located at the UMMC School of Health Related Professions in Jackson, MS. The UMMC OT 2023 graduates will be presenting their research projects in 15-minute intervals with a question/answer session following each. This event is open and free to all. MSOTA members will receive a 2.0 CEU certificate immediately following the event. Pre-registration is closed for this event. If you would like to attend and have not registered, you can register on site beginning at 5:00 p.m. Click here for a UMMC campus map with parking lot designations. Attendees should park in Lot 21 which is located behind the SHRP building. Parking will be validated upon check in to the event. 2023 MSOTA ANNUAL CONFERENCEThe 2023 Mississippi Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference was held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the School of Health Related Professions on the UMMC campus in Jackson, MS. Attendees earned up to 7.5 continuing education hours. The morning started with a state of the union address by our MSOTA President, Robin Parish. This was followed by our morning speaker, Dr. Seth Kalin. The afternoon consisted of varying tracks ranging from pediatrics, to mindfulness, vision, and strategies for stroke recovery to name a few.
