MSOTA Meridian District Meeting/Free CEU Event

MSOTA Meridian District Co-Chairs Sarah Whinery and Scott White are hosting a meeting/free CEU event titled "Panel of Pearls:  Clinical Pearls for Everyday Practice" on Saturday, August 29, 2026. This event will be held at the Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center - North Campus in Meridian, MS from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with the experts to ask questions, learn practical strategies, and gain insights or "pearls" that can be applied directly to everyday practice.  This panel of experienced occupational therapy practitioners (Dr. Jessica Princell, Mallory Peden, Scott White, and Diane Satterfield) represent a variety of practice settings and specialties that include upper extremity/physical rehabilitaion, pediatrics, earl intervention, lymphedema, and more!

For many OT practitioners, working in rural areas like Meridian, can feel isolated or limited in available resources.  This District's goal is to change the narrative.  Beyond the invaluable knowledge to be gained, this event is designed to foster meaningful connections, encourage collaboration, and strengthen the OT practitioner community in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Whether yo are a new practitioner or a seasoned clinician, you do not want to miss this opportunity!

Attendance is open and free to all.  MSOTA members only will receive a 2.0 hour continuing education certificate immediately following the event. Pre-registration is required.  Click here to register online.
